What do you mean by invariant and untwisted? When would I use them and what do they cure. Do they work with D3s?ThanksJohn
You can read about them here http://dcptool.sourceforge.net/Hue%20Twists.html and yes they will work with the D3s.
Thanks. Can you summarise this please, as there's a lot of info there and I'm not getting it easily!CheersJohn
Its probably better to try them and see if you like them. Untwisted profiles do not change the hue of the image when it processed. Invariant profiles change the hue of the image based on initial exposure but it is then fixed. Adobe profiles change the hue during initial conversion and also when you move the sliders in ACR / Lightroom. (Usually most noticeable with the recovery slider)
Ok will do I have downloaded but am afraid of replacing the folder that is already there in Adobe profiles on win xp, with yours. Can I just add it and rename it say Adobe untwist?
Just put the unzipped folder inside the Adobe folder. You can rename it to whatever you like. Lightroom / ACR search the folders in here when they first start up.
