Apple iCloud

Apple iCloud went live today. I migrated painlessly except for my Android email access. I have worked out the settings to get this running again as follows...

Delete your old MobileMe email account from the Android device. Next add a new account and select manual setup. When prompted select IMAP as the account type.




The incoming server settings:-

username = my_name    ( from your account my_name@me.com)
password = your MobileMe password
Server = p99-imap.mail.me.com
Port = 993
Security = SSL

The outgoing server settings:-

Server = smtp.me.com
Port = 587
Security = None
